Sea Shades Palolem Resort welcomes you,
about 150 meters from the scenic Palolem Beach,
into a tropical garden.
A Mini-forest with birds and squirrels scampering among the trees. Buddha is omnipresent along the meandering path through the entire resort garden. Local potteries are scattered throughout, to include an interesting Thermal Coal Formation.

Things to Do Around
There’s a variety of activities on offer, when you’re here dull moments are only distant memories. Indulge in numerous activities such as boat rides, fishing trips, kayaking, sightseeing to tourist destinations, ayurvedic massage & spa, and yoga. Or simply unwind on the beach and chill out.
- Picnic trips to butterfly island.
- Trips to Anjuna Flea Market / Spice plantation /Doodhsagar Waterfall etc.

Location is nice and palolium beach is walking distance. Staff is responsive and answering all of our questions and give the helpful information about the area. Room are clean and bathroom area is bery big… really great adventurous experience in wooden huts…

The stay here was average based on price charged.
Pros: The only positive side to this resort is, it’s closer to the beach.
Cons: They dont provide any means to drink hot water.
No coffee/tea/restaurants.
Not more than 1 water bottle even if you’re staying for more than 1 day/night.
Directions: Quite difficult to find the location as the sign board to the resort isn’t visible enough – easy to loose track.
Not a memorable stay experience, however if you’re looking to stay somewhere near to the beach, you can give it a shot.

Roads through map is not correct and has to rely on local words. Some one can easily be lost in and around if following the maps.
This place is infested with cockroaches. I found 6 cockroaches under the pillow the moment I entered the room. Most horrible experience of my life.
Excellent experience. The staff are nice, polite and very helpful. We came in off season and unfortunately, the cook was on off so could not check out the food here. Hospitality is great and the serene and quiet stay experience is exactly what we needed.
The AC in the Deluxe room is effective. Suggest further insulation to keep the cold air in and the warm air out. Fans during Summers are not useful as they throw down all the hot air… So I suggest not using it.
Overall the experience has been excellent 👌 and this place would be my place of choice.

Reaching to the beach:
One needs hardly 3-4 mins walk to reach Palolem beach. One can get a scooter nearby too.
About the resort: t’s quite compact compared to other resorts nearby. Compact in the sense of a few rooms but the vibe is next level. Super green surrounding and 🛖 are so clean and so worthy. Bathroom was so big and very clean. We loved staying there.
Service:We booked for 3 nights but had to cancel the first day of our booking and made it 2 day stay. We called there and said to cancel it. We were expecting they would at least give a room to other guests for a day and really didn’t expect to refund our one day amount. But as we reached the lady there, maybe the owner told us that she is refunding our cancelled day amount as she gave a room to another guest. And we were surprised by her gesture. The room was very reasonable. If I’m not wrong then 1100 or 1200. But again that depends on which season you choose to visit.
In December they hike there rates
Anyway, I highly recommend this stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage with my group, and I must say that it was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in the cozy and inviting space. The cottage was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout, and it was clear that the owner had put a lot of care and attention into making it a welcoming space for guests.
Speaking of the owner, they were an absolute delight to work with! Not only were they responsive and communicative, answering all of our questions and providing helpful information about the area, but they were also incredibly cute and charming! When we arrived, they greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the cottage, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Throughout our stay, the owner continued to check in and make sure that we were enjoying our time at the cottage. They even went out of their way to recommend local restaurants and activities, which was much appreciated. It was a joy to interact with them, and they truly made our stay all the more special.
Overall, we cannot recommend this cottage and its adorable owner highly enough! If you’re looking for a cozy and inviting space to call home while you explore the area with your group, this is the perfect choice. And with such a sweet and attentive owner, you can be sure that your stay will be a truly memorable one.
